Agricultural and Commercial Show Ends on a High Note, Says Dr. Bernard Moonga

The 96th Agricultural and Commercial Show, which concluded yesterday, has been hailed as a resounding success by the President of the Agricultural and Commercial Cooperative Society of Zambia Limited, Dr. Bernard Moonga.

Held under the theme “Creating a Competitive Future”, this year’s show attracted an unprecedented number of over 1,400 local and international exhibitors. The event, which showcases Zambia’s agricultural and commercial advancements, provided a platform for businesses and innovators to network, exchange ideas, and promote their products and services.

Dr. Moonga expressed his satisfaction with the turnout, noting that the participation level exceeded expectations. “This year’s show has been a milestone for us, with the largest number of exhibitors we’ve ever had. It reflects the growing interest in Zambia’s agricultural and commercial sectors, not just locally, but internationally as well,” he said.

The show brought together a diverse range of industries, from agriculture and technology to manufacturing and tourism. With new innovations on display and discussions about the future of Zambia’s economy, the event fostered a sense of optimism for the country’s commercial and agricultural sectors.

While acknowledging the success of the 96th edition, Dr. Moonga expressed hopes for even more participation in the coming years. “We are hopeful that next year’s show will attract even more exhibitors.
