Over 30 companies from the People’s Republic of China are participating at this year’s Zambia agriculture and commercial show that opened on the 31st of July in Lusaka.
The companies are in the country courtesy of the Zambia Chinese Association’s celebration of 60 years of economic partnership between Zambia and China.
The companies exhibiting are drawn from different sectors such as agriculture, mining, construction, energy, engineering and many others,showcasing different products and services that they are offering.
Among those exhibiting is Jiang Xi Magnificent Building Construction, Ji ‘an Shanyayansun Biotechnology, Pingxiang Shunpeng New Materials and Jiangxi Green Industry Group among others.
Zambia Chinese Association’s president Zhang jian says the association has brought the companies with a view of them investing in different sectors in Zambia.
Zhang says the Chinese people remain committed to the development of Zambia, adding that the show is one such platform which will enable the companies to network with Zambians.

This year’s show is being held under the theme; ‘Creating a Competitive Future’.
The event which closes on August 5th brings together thousands of companies both local and international.
