President Hakainde Hichilema has warned his predecessor Edgar Chagwa Lungu that he will soon be arrested if he will breaking the law .
Addressing the media today at State House, President Hichilema says the former head of state persecuted him in opposition and he don’t want to revenge because he will not be different from him.
He says he is not aware whether Mr. Lungu is under house arrest because Mr. Lungu was recently at Ibex police station when JJ Banda was abducted.
President Hichilema says those wanting to take the country back to the rivers of blood will be arrested.
The head of state says the Petauke MP Emmanuel JJ Banda has to be arrested for the case he did years back when he stormed the Central Police Station and beat up police officers
And President Hichilema has directed the police to arrest the UPND cadres the caused mayhem and terrorizing the Bauleni residents and inconveniencing other road users on Tuesday when they coming from the burial of one the UPND member.
“I don’t want to be a president that will be ushered into office by thuggery. Maybe I don’t need your vote.” – HH.
He says if the police will fail to discharge their duties, he will engage the military to help restore law and order.
