Acting Energy Regulation Board (ERB) Director- General Mwenya Chama has encouraged energy consumers to switch to solar products and Liquefied Petroleum Gas to mitigate the effects of the load management being implemented by ZESCO Limited.
Mrs. Chama was speaking during the Energy Awareness Inter-School Quiz competition held at Energy House in Lusaka today.
The Inter-School Quiz competition is an initiative of the ERB in line with one of its key functions enshrined in the Energy Regulation Act No. 12 which mandates the regulator to disseminate energy related information and encourage public participation in the provision of energy products and services.
