Amiran Zambia and PSMFC Pens MoU

Public Service Micro Finance Company Limited and Amiran Zambia have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at giving an opportunity to public service workers accessing agricultural products at a right price.

Speaking during the signing of the MOU, PSMFC Company Chief Executive Officer Mubanga Mwiko Amiran Zambia will also offer technical support and skills the public service workers engaging in agriculture to enhance their agricultural activities.

“We are happy that Amiran Zambia will not only be providing agricultural equipment but also the expertise and the skills to the public service employees”, says Mr. Mwiko.

He has further disclosed that the company has set aside K250 million loan for the public service workers in the agro sector to support them especially in irrigation sector in the wake of climate change.

“We want to ensure that government employees help improving our economy by venturing into agriculture especially irrigation farming to avert the climate change the country is facing,” he said.

And Amiran Zambia country manager Christo Uys says the MOU will give an opportunity to government employees to succeed in the agricultural sector and access quality agricultural products at the right price.

“ Amiran Zambia has a team that can provide technical expertise and skills to commercial and other farmers to ensure that the agriculture sector thrives’. Uys said.
