Mr. Chinyama revealed that 400 health facilities have already been digitized, surpassing the initial target of 600 facilities, which were scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. With the current progress, Mr. Chinyama is optimistic that 1000 health facilities will be fully digitized by the end of 2024.

Mr. Chinyama emphasized that the digitization of health facilities is a significant milestone in Zambia’s digital transformation journey, aligning with the presidential directive. “This initiative will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services, ultimately benefiting the citizens,” he said. “This development is a testament to the government’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve the lives of Zambians.”
