Chadiza Member of Parliament Jonathan Daka has called on the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development to quicken the amendments on the Constituency Development Fund application guidelines.
Mr. Daka says CDF is meant to develop rural areas but unfortunately the application processes do not favor those in rural areas.
He has observed that this has posed challenges during the writing of proposals because most of the cooperatives submit similar projects.
Mr. Daka said most of the people in rural areas have the potential to uplift themselves through the CDF but they are hindered with the tedious application process.
