Government says it is impressed with Chinese companies exhibiting at the 2024 Zambia agriculture and commercial show.
And the Zambia Chinese Association has been awarded as a platinum sponsor at this year’s show with President Hakainde Hichilema presenting the award to the association.
He was accompanied by Burundi President Eavariste Ndayishimiye at the official opening of the show yesterday.
President Hichilema commended the Chinese association for it’s commitment to the development of the nation through continued investments in various sectors such as energy, agriculture, health infrastructure and others.
Over a 100 Chinese companies are exhibiting and showcasing different products and services being offered.
Meanwhile, the Zambia Chinese Association stand continues being a hive of activities with hundreds of show goers visiting the stand.
And Local Government and Rural Development Minister Garry Nkombo appreciated the diversity of Chinese companies in offering quality products and services to citizens.
Nkombo stated that the collaboration between Zambia and China has seen both countries benefit mutually.
Chinese Association Executive president Wu Ming expressed gratitude government’s creation of a conducive environment for foreign business community to thrive.
